{Review} NYX Butter Gloss + Swatches

Hi lovelies, today’s lippy day here on Pieces in Pink and a yummy lippy at that. The NYX Butter Gloss is everything the name says and more! So first off let’s look at the two yummies I got at the Blogger Awards, I have the shades Merengue and Vanilla Cream Pie

These two lippies aren’t called butter glosses for nothing, they glide on your lips like butter and the colour payoff on both shades are amazing. They smell like butterscotch as well, keeping to the butter theme! The glosses have a nice wet look to them and lasts a decent amount time for a gloss, re-application is required after eating and drinking. Merengue is a soft pink shade with vibrant pigments while Vanilla Cream Pie is a peachy colour and a bit more opaque.

These Butter Glosses doesn’t leave my lips feeling sticky and the gloss sits very comfortably on my lips. I have experienced some gloss brands before that feels heavy and incredibly sticky.

I love the vibrant packaging and the applicator wants are the perfect size to apply the glosses to my lips. The amount of product that gets lifted out on these applicators is just enough to coat my lips.

The Best part about NYX (if you read my review on the Love in Paris you will know what I will say next) is that they are Cruelty Free! I’ve actively been trying to invest more in brands that are cruelty free and I’m starting to avoid brands that still test on animals.
