Introducing the Caribbean Tan Range

Good day my lovelies, today’s post is all about the Caribbean Tan range, as some of you might have seen I got a gorgeous press drop from the team over at Caribbean Tan & Cosmetix and it was filled to the brim with gorgeous self tan products.  I decided to do a series of posts on the Caribbean Tan range over the next couple of weeks because there is just so much to know and review. To kick this series off I’m going to introduce you to the brand and the products.

Caribbean Tan Range

Caribbean Tan brings us an innovative concept for the application of sunless tanning. Their application system promises to nearly eliminate all problems associated with self tan creams. No more streaky messes, orange palms, or dirty looking knees and elbows!  The products contain DHA (Dihydroxyacetone – natural sugar cane derivitive) and when applied to the skin, it causes a chemical reaction to produce a tan similar the sun, without the UVA and UVB damage.  Your tan can last up to two weeks when cared for correctly and the products are FDA approved!

They have a huge range of products that includes everything from prepping your skin to protecting your skin. The range is divided into products for: A – Fair Skin (burns easily, tans minimally) B – Medium Skin (tans gradually) C – Dark Skin (rarely burns, tans well)  and you can choose between two types of self tanning, instant and gradual. The instant tan products give an immediate tan and develops a long-lasting tan over 8 hours, the gradual products are clear and develops a tan over 8 hours.

Tan In A Can Instant – RRSP 94.95
A fine tanning spray with instant colour. Delivers a deep, even, seamless tan. Gives and immediate bronze that develops over 8 hours it takes 10 minutes to dry.

Gradual Tan in a Can – RRSP 94.95
A clear tanning spray that develops over 8 hours into a deep,  even, seamless tan. An easy to apply mist dries in 8 minutes.

Tanning Spritzer – RRSP 94.95
Their original salon-inspired liquid formula. Created to give you a rich, deep, instant tan. Leaves the skin immediately bronzed while developing a long-lasting tan over 8 hours. with a drying time of 5 minutes. This product comes with an application mitt.

Gradual Bronzing Mousse – RRSP 94.95
A super lightweight, easy to apply clear mousse that delivers an even, all over tan in 8 hours this product is preferred by many for its non-stick, quick drying formula, it dries in only 3 minutes.

Tanning Wipes – RRSP54.95
Ideal for tanning touch-ups and great for face- tanning, the box includes 6 x individually wrapped wipes and they are ideal for travel.

This sun protection in a can is available in a SPF 15 as well as a SPF 30. The aerosol can offers an easy and convenient application method to put an end to messy bottles in your beach bag! The clear spray doesn’t only provide sun protection, it also has special ingredients that work to tan your skin faster so that you spend less time lying in the sun.

Bronzing Milk SPF 15 – RRSP 94.95
This innovative product offers sun protection while giving you an instant bronzed look and is perfect for those first few days after a long winter. The Bronzing Milk is available in SPF 15 and contains tan-enhancing ingredients as well and it will wash off with water.

Bronzing Facial Moisturiser – RRSP 69.95
The Bronzing Facial Moisturiser is an innovative three-in-one product. It’s a daily moisturising cream, a sun protector with a SPF 20 and it’s a bronzer to give you a healthy summer glow, it’s the end of layering products on your face every morning! This one sounds amazing, and is high on my list for must haves this coming summer.
