Happy Friday all my lovelies. I meant to have this post up a bit earlier today but I’ve been out for the count this morning with a terrible headache. It’s still here but as we do, we push through it. I didn’t have time to take photos for today’s post so I’m borrowing images from the brand’s websites. Today’s prompt is about favourite makeup products or makeup tools. I had to give this one a bit of thought because I’m always jumping around trying this new thing and that new thing.
Favourite Makeup Products
Smash Box Photo Finish Primer
This is definitely my go to primer, I sometimes get dry patches on my forehead and between my eyes, even tho I have oily skin. This primer provides the perfect base for my foundation.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette
This was my first ever Urban Decay product and it still remains my holy grail eyeshadow palette. I can easily create an eyeshadow look and it never fails me. Together with the primer my eyes stay gorgeous and crease free all day long.
Urban Decay Primer Potion
As mentioned above this let’s me go crease free for the entire day and my makeup stays fresh and looking great.
Colourpop Lippie Stix in Topanga
I got this shade on a wim, a completely out of my comfort zone shade and now it’s my go to lipstick. It goes so well with nearly any makeup look
Makeup Tools
Most of my brushes are real techniques, I’ve tried using other brands but I’ve found that after their first wash their hair looks like that of a really old Barbie doll.
I love my real techniques stilling brush, setting brush and shading brush for creating everyday makeup looks. One of my other favourite tools is the original Beauty Blender. I’ve tried 2 other beauty sponge brands and none comes close to the originals. Last but not least I love the Lottie London Soap Star. It easily cleanses all my brushes and sponges!
