Good day my lovelies, happy last Friday of 2017! This year just flew past in a whirl wind. This year has been full of really touch challenges for me but I came out head high. I hope that that those of you lucky enough to be on vacation is getting that well deserved rest, those who aren’t I hope you aren’t working too hard. Now let’s get to today’s post. 2017 – The greatest hits. Every year end I compile a list of my favourite products and here is this year’s greatest hits.
2017 – The Greatest Hits
- The Balm Nude Tude Palette – Not only does this palette have super cute packaging, it swatches and applies beautifully. All and all a good nude sha selection for everyday use
- The Original Beauty Blender – I really love the smooth and natural foundation application I get with this little sponge. But don’t let the size fool you, as soon as it’s wet it nearly tripples in size!
- Guerlain Kiss Kiss Matte Lipstick in Spicy Burgundy – My new favourite red lippy, you can read my full review over > here <
- Fanola No Yellow Shampoo – This shampoo puts the wow factor right back into lightened hair, bye bye brassy tones, you can read my entire review over > here <
- NYX Illuminator Power in Ritualistic – This has been my go to highlighter since March, I really love the natural golden glow I get and it’s extremely easy to apply and blends out so well.
- L’Oreal Nude Cushion Foundation – It’s really a pity that this isn’t available in SA. I love the natural radiant finish it gives. It’s medium coverage and a little bit goes a long way.
- Benefit They’re Real Mascara – One of THE best mascaras I’ve ever used. It lasts long and I never once got that dreaded smudges below my eyes. It gives body and length, love it!
- Vaseline Spray Moisturiser – The perfect product for the woman on the go (and the lazy girl) just a spray, rub and you, I have a full review over > here <
- Colourpop Fem Rosa Her Palette – This was another huge hit. This face palette packs a punch and her the perfect combination for my face, full review and swatches over > here <
- Urban Decay Illumanting Trio – You guys are probably noticing a pattern but I just can’t get enough of highlighters. These 3 can be use as highlighters only or as a highlighter, blush and bronzer
- Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss – I’ve always been one for lip glosses and the subtle nude lip colour is a winner. Really like the minty tingle on my lips too
- Colourpop Fem Rosa She Palette – All the rosy pinks and purples you need in one place! Shimmers, sheens and matte. Full review over > here <
- Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Nourishing Lip Balm Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 20 – The description says it all!
- L’Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream – The smart technology of this product is really amazing. It changes colour to your own skintones to match perfectly, but sadly another one not available in SA
- NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator in Sunbeam – Airy light on the skin with the perfect sheen. I sometimes use this one underneath a powder higlight just for that extra bit of glow
