{Unboxing} Boxycharm August 2017

Happy Monday lovelies, I hope you all had a relaxing weekend and got to all the things you wanted to do. We did some grocery shopping and just lounged around watching Supernatural and drooling over makeup. I also got my Boxycharm August 2017 box on Friday!

Last month my friend Ilona from Ilonique signed up to Boxycharm and received such a great box of goodies that when I saw the spoilers for the August box I didn’t need to be invited twice. I was lucky enough to sign up while there was no wait list and my box was safe and sound and out for delivery last Thursday.

Everything went smoothly with Aramex, which made up for the disaster which was the purchase of my Juvia’s palette. Now let’s get to the fun part, unboxing!

Moda Pro 3 Piece Brush Set By Royal & Langernickel

A girl can never have too many brushes, so when i saw these 3 brushes will be in the box I was thrilled. I haven’t used them yet but the brushes are so soft to the touch and the grip on them is really comfortable on my hand.

Waterproof Gel Eyelinder by Bellapierre

This is my second item from a box by Bellapierre, I received one of their brushes in another subscription box when I was in the Netherlands so I am pretty stoked to try one of their makeup items.

Pro Eyelashes by PÜR

I’ve only ever owned two sets of fake lashes so I am no pro at applying them. I am however excited to play with these and master the art. They really are gorgeous.

#GRLPWR Liquid Lipstick by the Beauty Crop

I am not the biggest fan of matte lipstick but I’ve swatched this one on my hand. The formula kinda melts to your skin and when I rubbed over it I couldn’t even feel that there is something on my hand. It tried really well and the shade I got is really pretty.

Rainforest of the Sea by Tarte

Now we get to the cremé of the box. This gorgeous Tarte palette alone made the entire box worth it. It contains 8 cool toned shades and they noted that you don’t need to use a primer with these. I will try it out and report back!

I’ve had a couple of people asking me how they can subscribe to Boxycharm and get it delivered to SA. Here is a quick break down. You need to register for an account from a shipping forwarding company like Aramex Global Shopper OR Postbox Courier. Take note of your US shipping address. Then you go to the Boxycharm site here and sign up by following the on screen prompts. It’s just like online shopping! You will get a notification once your parcel reached the shipping forwarding company. You then provide the relevant documentation and pay your shipping.

The total of my box + shipping was around R400 and that is extremely reasonable for a total value of more than R1250!
