Hi loves, I hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather and that the intense heat in Gauteng is over for now. Here in the Garden Route we’ve finally started getting some warmer sunnier days, a huge yay for pretty painted toes and shimmer body butters! Freeman’s Face Masks.

Freeman’s Face Masks

Getting back to the topic of the post, during August I popped into dischem looking for a new face mask(s) as I wanted to try out multi-masking but ended up grabbing two tubes of Freeman’s face masks over a larger variety masks in the sachet’s as I figured I would get more use out of them. I popped the Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask and the Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask into my basket.

Dead Sea Minerals Anti Stress Mask Freeman’s Face Mask

This mask is for cleansing pores and smoothing skin and is really rich in nutrients. It helps to replenish and balance moisture while purging clogged pores. It contains Lavender and Bergamot that puts your skin in a bliss like state and helps rinse away stress for smooth and radiant skin. This mask is perfect for all skin types.

The consistency of the mask is similar to a mud mask and it’s has a lovely turquoise colour which really reminds you of the sea. It feels really cold and soothing when applied and it is really easily smoothed over the skin. This is one of those masks that you need to let dry before rinsing off and you can feel it tightening as it dries. After rinsing the mask off my skin feels amazingly smooth and soft and my pores seems clearer.

Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask Freeman’s Face Mask

This unique mask is a dual action purifying mask and scrub for detoxing the skin. It contains naturally purifying activating charcoal that absorbs oil and impurities without over-drying. The black sugar helps to exfoliate away dead and dulling skin cells for softness and clarity. The mask is suited to all skin types.

I was surprised by the consistency of this mask when I first used it, it’s nearly like moist sugar that is magically sticking together. When applied to my face my skin gets a warm feeling, it’s not an unpleasant feeling but it is noticeable. After applying to the face and neck you wait for 5 – 7 minutes before gently massaging for 1 – 2 minutes, rinse off with hot water. I really love that this mask is a combo and exfoliates the skin as well. My skin looks really radiant and glowy after using this mask.

The masks come in 175ml tubes and it costs around R60 at Dischem. Have you used any Freeman’s mask? Which one do you recommend I try next? I hope to get some more soon so I can get to trying out multi masking!
