I received this perfume from my father-in-law as a Christmas gift. I did however pine after it ever since it came out, as I have another fragrance by Katy Perry which I love.ย Killer Queen!

One thing about Katy’s fragrances is the design of her perfume bottles, they are so pretty, they can double as a decoration on your dressing table! The perfume itself is a bit heavy and smells really sweet, more for night time wear. The scent lasts really long. I love that it has notes of Jasime as that is my husband’s favourite flower.
This perfume was released and marketed as follow: ”ย Killer Queen was described as a playful, sophisticated, powerful, edgy and delicious fragrance, that reflects the rebellious spirit of the singer” (Wikipedia) I do agree that it is a powerful and edgy scent. I would recommend testing this perfume at the store, maybe even more than once before purchasing it.

The fragrance comes in a red and gold jewel-shaped bottle, which was inspired by a queenโs sceptre.
Top notes ~ wild berries, dark plum and bergamot
Heart notes ~ velvety red flower (Celosia), but there are also Sambac jasmine and rainbow plumeria.
Base notes ~ cashmere, patchouli and liquid praline
