Happy 1st of June everyone, it’s that time of the month where I get to share my favourite beauty products for the past month. We are having heavy rain fall and the forecast predicts it will be like this till Friday, but I won’t let that keep me from blogging, so, please excuse the uneven lighting in my pictures. May Beauty Favourites 2015
May Beauty Favourites 2015
1. Joico K-Pak Shampoo and Conditioner
I received this in the very first “The Test Box” but it’s been sitting pretty on my shelf after I tried it out once for my first impressions post and after a fellow blogger sang the praises of this duo I decided to use it more often, I have to tell you these two made my hair soft, manageable and super shiny.
2. Catrice Eyeshadow Primer
This eyeshadow base is just amazing and so affordable, I don’t think I will ever be able to apply makeup without it again! I forgot to apply it one day in May and my eyeshadow creased around midday and I then it just struck me I forgot to apply my eyeshadow base! I really recommend this, it leaves your eyeshadow looking freshly applied for the entire day. You can read my review on it and some other Catrice products here.
3. Elizabeth Arden Eyeshadow Compacts
I reviewed these two compacts this month and I still reach for them every time I apply makeup, I just adore all the shades. You can read my full review on these here.
4. Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract
I received this as a freebie in my Woolies online order a couple of weeks ago and besides it smelling citrus fresh, it lightly exfoliates my skin and leaves it with a natural glow. I exfoliate more frequently during winter to keep those dry patches at bay.
5. The Body Shop Honeymania Body Wash, Scrub & Body Butter
I bought this in December at a Clicks sale and I’ve been loving it this month, I love exfoliating my legs with the scrub before a shave, using the body wash while shaving and finishing up with the body butter, it leaves my legs feeling amazing!
What were some if your favourite products this past month ?

The Catrice eyeshadow base sounds really good. I’m using the Essence eyeshadow base and it takes ages to finish, but one day when I have finished that one I will try this one 🙂

Then I will give the essence one a go when the catrice one is finished and compare 🙂
