As many PCOS suffers know, PCOS and acne goes hand in hand and leads to so much frustration! When Acne-Oil reached out to let me give their product a go I happily accepted. Unlike a lot of people struggling with acne mine is based more on my stomach and other areas than on my face, so I am happy to give this a try.

In this blog post we will be looking at the brand and two of their products. Acne-Oil and the Acne Control Glycerin Face Bar. I will update the post with a review soonest!

Acne-Oil

Acne-Oil – Who, What, Where

Acne-Oil is dedicated to helping acne sufferers, their oil is their flagship product,  They believe in a holistic approach to acne management. This includes a topical application of acne oil combined with a healthy lifestyle.

How does Acne-Oil Work?

Acne-Oil helps to balance excess sebum production, thereby helping to prevent pores from clogging which would otherwise result in acne, pimples and hyperpigmentation (dark marks).

The oil is non-comedogenic, moisturizing and protects the skin without clogging your pores. The nutrients provided by the oil complements its efficacy in topical skin care, especially for people with acne.

A Non-Comedogenic Moisturiser

Making sure that your skin is kept moisturised is very important when it comes to controlling acne. Using products that clog the skin pores serves little purpose and can worsen the problem. The answer to this is to use a non-comedogenic oil such as Acne-Oil. This oil does not clog pores and provides healthy moisturised skin care via its combination of omega fatty acids and vitamins.

Includes an Antibacterial Agent

With its unique combination of antibacterial properties, healthy unsaturated fats and antioxidants acne-oil is in a league of its own in managing acne and pimples.

Acne-Oil Ingredients

The 100% organic formulation of Vitamin D, E, Omega 6, Omega 3 fatty acids as well as linoleic acid works to both regulate sebum (oil) production and to simultaneously moisturise the skin. ACNE-OIL™ is effective in reducing and managing the effects of acne & rosacea. It also helps to fade post-acne dark marks.

Acne Control Glycerin Face Bar

Glycerin is super gentle on skin and is non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog pores making it an excellent cleanser for individuals who have acne-prone skin. It is very important to keep the skin moisturized as dry skin causes the body to react by producing more oil, resulting in acne flare ups.  Acne-Control Glycerin Face Bar cleanses while at the same time hydrating and moisturizing the skin.

Ingredients

Glycerine, Sucrose, Aqua, Sodium Laureath Sulphate, Sorbitol, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Laurate, Propynol Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate.

My View on Acne-Oil

Acne Oil

The oil absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves the skin feeling nourished, moisturized and cared for without leaving it oily. I tested this on my body where I tend to get acne and it calmed the skin and helped reduce the size of and amount of the acne. I also feel like it helps to heal my skin faster, leaving me with soft smooth skin.

Acne Control Glycerin Face Bar

The face bar is very gently on the skin and doesn’t make the skin feel tight. I like how fresh and clean and nourished my skin feels after I use this. I know it’s marked as a face bar but as someone with very sensitive skin I find it very gentle all over.
