February Beauty Favourites

Feb Beauty favs 1

Sometimes I feel like I need to put brakes on time, this year is moving way to fast for me! I planned to have this post up on the 1st, and look it’s already the 7th. Hopefully soon everything around me will get back to normal (well as normal as possible anyway) and I will have more time to sit down and blog. But, there is always a but, just because I haven’t had time to put “pen to paper” it doesn’t mean that I haven’t been trying out some beauty products!

So here are some of my favourites used during February

Feb Beauty favs

1. Catrice Eyebrow Filler – Perfecting & Shaping Gel

This naturally tinted eyebrow filler grooms, thickens and defines your brows. Easy to use and fast-drying without clumping. I just love, love, love this brow gel so much, it helps me achieve good looking brows in a snap, the fibers really fill in small gaps really well giving me an even brow that lasts all day. I am not entire sure how much I paid for it, but it was between R60 – R70 at Dischem

2. Lush Roses All The Way Soap Bar

This gorgeous soap was part of the Lush Valentines Day collection and I have to say this soap just smells amazing. It has a soft rosey scent that lingers on the skin for hours. It fade to a soft creamy colour as you treat your skin to a gentle rose oil and syrup lather. The only thing I regret is not getting more than one. They sell for R55 for 100g during February.

3. Lush Dragon’s Egg Ballistic

I make a point about it to get different ballistics each time I order from Lush and so far the Dragon’s Egg has been my favourite. It turns your bath into a fruity smelling orange lagoon filled with glitters and some froth. Next time you don’t know what to get when making a Lush purchase I highly recommend this fruity egg.

4. Gosh Long Lasting Eye Liner Pen

This is the first ever liquid liner I’ve managed to apply without getting it into my eyes and over my eyes, think panda….The formula has an easy to apply consistency, it dries fast and stays put all day long. The only downside to this liner is that it is a little bit harder to remove, so it takes a little bit more time to get off. I purchased 2 shades on sale at Edgars, paying around R50 each, I have it in Black Brass and Grey.

5. Gosh Boombastic Swirl Mascara

This has been one of my go-to mascaras this past month, with easy and fast application it has really been a time saver! You can read my full review on this mascara over here.
