Good day my lovelies! I hope you are all doing super great. Today’s post is for all you highlighted and light-haired babes. Yes that includes all shades of blonde and silver. I noticed Fanola No Yellow Shampoo popping up on social media and when I saw that Samantha is bringing them in I had to try it. The wait was a bit long but it was totally worth it.
What is Fanola No Yellow Shampoo?
Fanola No Yellow Shampoo is a shampoo that is made with a violet pigment that tones down the yellow hues in grey or lightened hair.
Does it really work?
Yes! It actually really works. I saw a lot of youtube videos and before and after photos of people using this shampoo just to think, mmm. Is this trickery like on morning infomercials? But yes it works. I saw a huge difference after just one wash. I have highlighted hair. My natural colour is a bit of an ash blonde and I noticed a huge difference in the bleached strands. My darker non bleached hair also looked more vibrant.
I’ve also noticed an improvement in the overall health of my hair. My hair is shiny, soft and strong.
How to use the Fanola No Yellow Shampoo
You use it just like any regular shampoo but you leave it on for 3 – 5 minutes. I’ve left it on longer to see if it will make my hair purple but I only end up with a bit of a purple hue. It does however make your hands look like you were petting a purple unicorn. Luckily it comes right off with some soap and effort.
Fanola Nutri Care Restructuring Mask
I was also lucky enough to try out this Fanola Hair Mask and I am extremely happy with it. Not only does it smell like condensed milk ( I nearly ate a spoon full in the bath ) It helps to bring your hair back to being glossy and healthy without making it overly slippery like I’ve noticed some masks do.
