Currently in my Life {April 2018}

I haven’t done a currently in my life update in a while but with everything going on in my life and my posts being so inconsistent and my instagram feed a mess I thought it best to just write an update. I guess in a way my social media is reflecting my life, full of ups and downs.

So what’s going on?

I’m moving, again. I think I should make moving my middle name! This move wasn’t an easy decision and I didn’t make it lightly. I’m the type of person who lives considering everyone else’s feelings before my own. Always making decisions that will impact the people around me the least, that is why making this one was so hard. For the first time in my life I choose for me, what’s best for me. I will be moving back to my mom’s at the end of the month. So here I go again updating my delivery details all over the place!

Why am I moving?

If you’ve been following my blog and/or know me personally you will know that my husband lives in the Netherlands. The truth is I haven’t seen him in over a year. We don’t get to talk often on the phone because of his job. When a girl is dealing with issues of the heart she always wants her mom. This is one of those times I just need my mom. I need to re-evaluate what I want in life and what is best for me.

I also miss my dogs a lot, I couldn’t bring them with me to Johannesburg and as we all know dogs can’t WhatsApp because they don’t have thumbs.

I am however really grateful for everything that I got to do and experience in Johannesburg, all the people I met and people that were good to me.

Will I stop blogging?

Absolutely not! I am taking my blog a little bit away from the beauty scene (I still love my makeup, don’t get me wrong) to focus more on other things in life. I have so many ideas and posts planned which will all come in due time. I will also start blogging specifically for bloggers on my business website so keep an eye out for that if you’re a blogger.

The Future

No matter how many things happen and go wrong in life I still believe that everything happens for a reason. We don’t always see the reason right away but a long the line you just realize “OH that’s why that happened” This time I’m jumping into the deep end myself, and I’m happy that I know how to swim.
