1tub mascarpone
20mlhazelnut syrupe.g. Nettari
1hazelnut chocolate slabgrated (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Cake
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions. Bake in a cake tin and allow to cool completely.
Make the Frosting
In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone with the frosting packet from the cake mix. Add the hazelnut syrup and mix until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Cake
Slice the cake into two layers. Spread a portion of the frosting between the layers, then cover the top and sides with the remaining frosting.
Decorate
Top with grated hazelnut chocolate if desired.
