I’ve fallen into this year like someone that missed a step coming down the stairs. All tumbles! So I think it’s fitting that I pretend I’ve only now noticed it’s 2019. Starting the year off with a flat car battery and a bunch of other drama I’m finally starting to feel that I’ve landed on my feet. I had my eyebrow touch up and it’s not how I wanted it so I’m avoiding mirrors. But, I still believe that I can make this year mine, it’s only just started right?!
Where to this year
I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on my blog and re-evaluate the direction I want to take with it. While I will still be doing beauty related posts I will be including my point of view with PCOS (I will explain a bit more in my next post on how I will be incorporating it) I also want to focus more on being a woman and what body positivity means to me. You will be seeing a bit more of lifestyle and foodie things too. My blog is after all my space for expressing myself! But I would still love to inspire and connect with every one of you.
Goals
Instead of making new years resolutions I’ve decided to set goals. This is thanks to the amazing Lisa Welsh. I really learned a lot from her in 2018 and I want to practice what she preached. Setting boundaries! She also helped me realize that I have my life put together more than what I thought. So one of my goals is to be more selfish with my time and spending it on things that matter. I highly recommend her, she’s a fantastic life coach.
The Personal Side of Life
On the more personal side I’ve decided to move on with my life and stop clinging to a marriage that isn’t going to work out. It’s not a lack of me trying but trying alone to keep things together isn’t a marriage. For now I just want to find myself again and do things for me. I think I’ve more than faced my fear of being alone the past two years.
Work
In 2018 my little company grew more than I could have imagined so I am going to continue working on it because I absolutely love what I do! Making the internet look good one blog and website at a time is a passion. So thank you to each and every one that’s been supporting me, you’ve been carrying me through more than what you could ever imagine.
So that’s it for officially starting 2019 on my blog. If you have any post suggestions or things you’d like to know about me, about PCOS, about anything really, leave me a comment or if you would like to chat in private you can send me an inbox on any of my social media platforms.
Be inspired and love your life!
Good luck for the year ahead my friend!
