Warm Potato and Sweet Potato Salad
A comforting, buttery potato and sweet potato dish with golden crispy edges, perfect for braais or family dinners.

- 6 potatoes
- 3 sweet potatoes
- 1 onion
- 50 g butter approximate
- 50 ml oil approximate
- Salt to taste
Preheat your oven to 200°C.
Peel and chop the potatoes, sweet potatoes, and onion into chunky pieces.
Place everything into an oven-safe dish.
Drizzle the oil over the vegetables and add the butter on top.
Toss everything together so it is evenly coated.
Season with salt.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 60–90 minutes.
Stir once or twice during cooking.
Once the potatoes are soft, remove the foil and allow the top to brown and crisp up.
Serve warm.
