I’ve been sitting with this post idea for some time and decided today is the day to just do it. My list of products I regret buying isn’t that long as I tend to buy with extreme caution and I do my re-search so it’s no surprise that these purchases where all made in a whim. I Regret Buying the Swiitch #Taupenotch Eyeshadow Palette
I don’t disagree that the shades are all gorgeous, but I felt that there are just too many shades that are very similar. Also the palette smelled like chemicals. A friend of mine’s palette smelt so bad that it wasn’t usable and had to be thrown out. R300 down the drain. Just a side note, we contacted them and was promised a replacement that never came. Doubt I would be supporting them again in the future.
Physicians Formula Nude Eyeshadow Palette
The eyeshadows where not very pigmented and I struggled to blend it. They are also extremely narrow in the palette and they aren’t being separated by pans so when you use it the colours smush together. When I initially reviewed this palette I don’t think I used it enough. I ended up giving it away.
The Balm Time Balm Foundation
I’m already not a very big foundation fan because most of them feels heavy on my face. This one was a disaster. Even with a primer it sits in each and every crater and line on your face. If that’s not bad enough it slips and slides like someone stepping on a soap in the shower not even an hour after application. Luckily this was purchased at the Stuttafords shut down sale and not a lot was spent on it. Just shocked that such a bad foundation could be priced so high. Myself and both my girl friends had a problem with this one.
The Balm Tall Dark Handsome Mascara
I love myself some mascara and this was another purchase from the Stuttafords sale. I didn’t open it immediately as I had a bunch of other mascaras open. When I finally wanted to use it and pulled the wand out it came out without a head. What a waste! I will see which one of my mascara wands will fit in there and be able to screw on so it’s not a total bust.
